AskThara ("AskThara," "we," "us") provides personalized Vedic astrology readings and an AI chart companion ("Kulfi"). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using askthara.com you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account details: your name and email address when you create an account.
Birth details: the date, time, and place of birth you provide so we can cast your chart. You may also add these details for family members you choose to add.
Reading and chat content: the readings prepared for you and your conversations with Kulfi.
Payment information: processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card number on our servers.
Usage data: basic technical information such as log-in events and pages viewed, used to operate and improve the service.

How we use your information

To create your birth chart and prepare your readings.
To power Kulfi's responses about your own chart.
To deliver readings and service emails to you.
To process payments and manage your subscription or purchases.
To secure, maintain, and improve the service.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run AskThara, under agreements that limit their use of it:

Supabase — database and authentication.
Stripe — payment processing.
Resend — sending your reading and service emails.
AI providers — to generate Kulfi's responses from your chart.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

Data retention

We keep your account, chart, and reading information for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data by contacting us.

Your choices

Access, correct, or delete your account information by contacting us.
Unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in those emails.
Request a copy or deletion of your data at any time.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No online service can be completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

Children

AskThara is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
