The Sky Behind Everything
One truth frames the whole ten years: we are in the Air era. On 21 December 2020, Jupiter met Saturn at 0° Aquarius and turned the ~200-year Great Mutation from Earth to Air — a two-century turn toward information, networks, machine intelligence and decentralisation over land, money and fixed institutions. Everything below plays out inside that turn. 2026–2035 is the first, testing half of that new cycle — expansion, then reckoning, before the two giants meet again in 2040.

Five Acts of the Decade
Look into the glass and the ten years resolve into five movements — a cresting, a grinding, a breaking, a deepening, and a dawn.
A last high before the tide turns
Jupiter rides exalted in Cancer — a genuine crest of relief, capital and optimism early in the window; markets, AI valuations and dealmaking run hot. But the fuse is already lit: on ~1 December 2026 Rāhu moves onto Capricorn (structure, the old order) and by mid-2027 Saturn crosses into fiery Aries. The 2 August 2027 great total eclipse — the longest of the century, its shadow crossing Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the Middle East — is the hinge: a solar eclipse over the world's oil heart falling in Puṣya (East division).
Saturn in Aries — the world does its hard labour
Saturn walks through Mars's own fiery sign: martial, grinding, unglamorous. This is the “morning after” — recessions bottoming, wars neither won nor ended but ground down, alliances rebuilt slowly and warily. The modern Saturn–Pluto square (~2028–29) corroborates: a structural power-order stress-test. Rāhu–Ketu shift to Sagittarius–Gemini, unsettling ideology, media and trade. The mood: exhausted, sober, rebuilding without applause.
The decade's crucible — three heavy signatures at once
Everything converges. Saturn joins Ketu in Taurus (collapse of structures, mass strain, and Taurus = wealth, banks, land, food) while Jupiter meets Rāhu in Scorpio — a Guru–Cāṇḍāla yoga that corrupts institutions, banks and the judiciary and inflames ideological extremism. Above them, Jupiter opposes Saturn: the establishment's vision against the state's hard limit, at maximum tension — the midpoint crisis of the whole Air cycle. The 1 June 2030 eclipse in Rohiṇī is the classical drought-war-famine omen; the 25 November 2030 eclipse in Scorpio (Nairṛta) falls squarely over Iran/Persia. This is the darkest, highest-stakes passage of the ten years.
Jupiter falls, Saturn enters the house of debt
Jupiter is debilitated in Capricorn (2032–33) — the tide of credit, faith and dharma at its lowest — exactly as Saturn moves into Gemini, the sign of money-supply, communication and, in the U.S. chart, the 8th house of debt, death and transformation. The global debt/currency reckoning that 2030 opened now matures: restructurings, a remade financial order, the search for a new store of value (the Air-era answer: digital, decentralised money). Politically it is a soul-searching, identity-driven season across the democracies.
Jupiter comes home — the storm breaks into rebuilding
Jupiter enters its own sign Pisces (2034) and the whole mood lifts: institutions rebuilt, law and ethics restored, a season of expansion and moral repair. For the United States this is precise — Jupiter Mahādaśā begins 16 August 2034, ending an 18-year Rāhu storm. The 20 March 2034 total eclipse sweeps Africa → India → China (a leadership inflection along that belt); the 2 September 2035 total eclipse darkens Beijing — a solar eclipse over the Chinese capital, a marker of leadership change. The generation that inherits the mid-2030s is defined by the rebuilding.
Why 2030–2031 is the crucible
If you remember one window, remember this one. Four independent classical signatures land inside eighteen months, and by the playbook's own convergence rule that is no longer a hypothesis — it is a prediction:
- Śani ☌ Ketu in Taurus — Saturn (masses, labour, contraction) fused with Ketu (severance, collapse) in the sign of banks, wealth, land and food. Classical read: structures fall, scarcity bites. (Ref-01 §1: Saturn+Ketu → collapse of structures, mass suffering)

Expect the deepest economic reckoning of the decade (debt, banks, currency, food prices), the highest war-risk window (Middle East foremost), and a crisis of trust in institutions worldwide — clustered 2030 into 2031. It is survivable and transformative, not terminal: it is the darkness right before the 2034 dawn.

🇺🇸 United States
Nine years into an 18-year Rāhu storm (2016 → 2034): the tearing of norms, the outsider, the tech tidal wave. It does not end quietly — it climaxes, then breaks.
- 2026–28 · Reckoning & aftershock — money, courts, war and belonging; a recession bottoming ~2027 (Rāhu–Ketu).
- 2028–31 · The long reset — a “restoration” election in 2028, rebuilding alliances (Rāhu–Venus) — real but debt-shadowed.

🇮🇳 India / Bhārat
The Air era's civilisational winner — but it must pass through fire in the early 2030s to claim it.
- 2026–29 · Ascent — Saturn in the 11th (gains, Parliament) to 2027 and Jupiter exalted in the 3rd (initiative, neighbours): momentum, tech, standing.
- 2030–2032 · The test — Saturn ☌ Ketu on the Taurus lagna itself (Sade-Sati climax) with the Rohiṇī eclipse (Jun 2030) over the heartland: agrarian/food stress, economic cooling, a searching leadership season. India's ruling sign afflicted.
- 2033–2034 · Consolidation — the 20 Mar 2034 total eclipse crosses India: a national leadership inflection.
- 2034–35 · Emergence — Jupiter own-sign Pisces in the 11th: gains renewed, India steps up a rung, steadier for the fire.
🇨🇳 China (PRC)
Assertive on the outside, structurally strained beneath — and pointed toward a leadership hinge at the decade's end.

A 34-year-old state chart entering its own reckoning; the war it began transforms mid-decade, and its leadership question sharpens.
- 2026–28 · War transforms — Rāhu leaving Aquarius (Russia's sign) and the Ukraine conflict grinding to a frozen or transformed settlement rather than a clean end.
- 2030–31 · Internal fracture risk — the global crucible plus Saturn–Ketu strains the structure of the state itself: succession pressure on the Putin era, elite fracture, economic isolation biting.
- 2033–34 · Northern eclipses — the Mar 2033 (Alaska/North) and 2034 eclipses fall on the North division: a redrawn Russian posture.
🇺🇦 Ukraine
A 34-year-old state chart passing through its own Saturn-return reckoning while the war forged in Rāhu's shadow moves toward a hard, contested settlement — and then a rebuilding.
- 2026–2028 · The war transforms — Saturn's martial walk through Aries plus global exhaustion and the U.S. “reset” of 2028 point to a frozen, negotiated or partial settlement rather than a clean victory: borders contested, sovereignty defended, reconstruction beginning under duress.
- 2028–29 · Reconstruction & the EU pull — a diplomatic, alliance-rebuilding phase (mirroring the West's Rāhu–Venus reset); deepening integration with Europe even as the frontier stays raw.

- 2032–2035 · A redrawn nation rebuilds — under the Jupiter dawn, a smaller-bordered but consolidated, West-anchored Ukraine turns to reconstruction.
🇮🇷 Iran
The decade's single most eclipse-marked nation — the shadow keeps returning to Persia's own sky.
- 2026–27 · Grinding conflict — the US–Iran thread unresolved into 2027; the 2 Aug 2027 great eclipse over the Middle East raises the stakes.
- 2030–31 · Regime crucible — the 25 Nov 2030 total eclipse in Anurādhā (Scorpio) falls on Iran's own Nairṛta region, conjunct Rāhu + Jupiter: the highest-probability window for fundamental regime transformation in Tehran.
